Gareth is a Managing Director at Centri Business Consulting. He has more than 27 years of finance and accounting experience, providing financial, auditing, and internal audit services across multiple industries. He joined Centri in March 2024 within the firm’s Risk Advisory Practice and assists clients with their internal audit and internal controls over financial reporting needs, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) readiness and compliance.

Prior to his time with Centri, Gareth spent 4 years in Risk Advisory leadership roles at two national accounting firms and 22 years in the Audit and Advisory Practices of KPMG. His recent experiences include building and leading teams to support clients with their internal audit and SOX journey and helping numerous clients implement SOX (404a and 404b) for the first time. Additional experiences include interim Internal Audit Director, remediation of material weaknesses, financial statement audit, SOC reporting, purchase price allocation, Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) filings, standing up offshore resources, comment letters, financial reporting analysis, and ERM and QAR assessments.

Gareth received an M.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is a Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina.
