Doug is a Senior Manager at Centri Business Consulting.  He has more than 15 years of experience in professional services supporting startups to Fortune 50 companies.  He joined Centri in July 2024 and assists insurance clients with risk advisory services, technical accounting advisory, outsourced accounting, and financial transformation services.

Prior to his time with Centri, Doug was the dual Interim Chief Financial Officer/Interim Chief Information Security Officer of a New York City-based medical malpractice insurer where he supported overall restructuring efforts of the finance and IT teams, improving overall profitability, expense management, and risk-based capital position for the firm.  Doug also spent nearly eight years with Grant Thornton LLP, delivering in the property and casualty, life, health, surety, and reinsurance industries, and served as one of two U.S. Knowledge Champions for the insurance industry. Prior to Grant Thornton, Doug was with KPMG performing risk advisory and project management services to larger financial services clients and KPMG’s Internal Audit Department.  Lastly, under his own practice, Doug served clients by performing interim controller, statutory financial reporting, accounting advisory, SEC reporting, and outsourced internal audit services to small and large P&C and life insurance clients.

Doug graduated Cum Laude with a B.S.B.A. from Drexel University, concentrating in accounting, finance, and their honors program.  He is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania. In addition, he is affiliated with the Society of Insurance Financial Managers and Financial Executives Networking Group (Philadelphia and New York City chapters).
