Daniel Ostien

Prior to joining Centri, Dan was the VP of Taxation at TekniPlex Inc., where he led his tax team in managing all corporate income tax compliance and reporting, tax controversy, and the structuring and integration of more than $1.2 billion in acquisitions over four years.

Dan has nearly four decades of experience managing corporate tax functions for large, multinational publicly held companies across manufacturing, technology, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries. His areas of expertise include taxation, treasury, finance, and risk management, with a specialization in U.S. federal, international, and state tax planning; transfer pricing; tax controversy; and tax compliance and reporting. Dan also specializes in ASC 740, covering a variety of tax reporting and provision matters, including annual and quarterly income tax reporting, realizability of deferred tax assets, uncertain tax position analyses, and global effective tax rate management. He began his career with KPMG in Philadelphia in the Tax and Audit departments.

Dan received a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Drexel University and a Master’s degree in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law.
