Matt is a Director at Centri Business Consulting. He has more than 8 years of experience in public and private accounting and consulting services. He joined Centri in April 2020 and assists clients across various industries with SEC financial reporting and technical accounting research.

Prior to his time with Centri, Matt was a manager at CFGI, LLC for 3 years, where he completed a variety of projects for clients in industries ranging from airlines to private equity to technology, among others. Matt performed accounting system implementations, technical accounting research, finance department optimization and automation, buy-side due diligence procedures, and financial reporting processes.

Prior to CFGI, Matt was an AVP in Equity Derivatives at Citigroup. There, he was responsible for executing the critical reporting functions, including legal entity, financial and regulatory reporting, specifically for GAAP accounting requirements. This involved providing financial oversight of the profit & loss and balance sheet to ensure accurate financial reporting to the business, senior management, and regulators.

Matt began his career at Ernst & Young, where he conducted financial statement audits in accordance with US GAAP and GAAS standards, primarily in the media and entertainment industry. He assisted in evaluating clients’ internal controls, specifically documenting key control processes. Matt also performed procedures to help ensure the successful filing of the Form S-1 for his client, the largest Spanish language network in the US.

Matt received a B.S. in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy focused on Financial Accounting from Rutgers University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
