Tonya is a Managing Director in the Tax Advisory Practice at Centri Business Consulting. She has more than 20 years of corporate tax and public accounting experience and specializes in tax accounting (ASC 740), including FIN 18, FIN 48, and purchase accounting, M&A transaction due diligence, integration, reporting, and disclosures, tax technology and tax reporting process improvement, and tax planning to maximize tax credits and optimize accounting methods. She joined Centri in October 2023, where she assists clients across various industries with their tax advisory needs.

Prior to her time with Centri, Tonya was the Global Tax Director – Accounting and Operations at International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc. (IFF), a merger of DuPont’s Nutrition & Biosciences business, overseeing global tax functions encompassing tax accounting, income tax compliance, post-merger integration and divestiture transactions, internal controls (SOX), the IRS CAP program, external PWC tax audits, and tax reporting process improvement.  Tonya was also on the Board of Directors for the domestic entities at IFF.

In addition to her public accounting experience with KPMG in tax, Tonya has held tax leadership positions with leading public multinational/national corporations, including DuPont, Syngenta, and Exelon, as well as tax advisory and consulting for Global Tax Management.

Tonya received her B.S. in Accounting with a minor in International Business from the University of Delaware. She also received her MBA with a concentration in tax from Villanova University. She was presented with the Thomson Reuters Corporate Tax: Cutting Edge Award in 2020. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
