Will Abbott

Will Abbott is a Senior Associate at Centri Business Consulting. He has more than 7 years of experience across state and local tax, audit, technical accounting, and financial reporting. He joined Centri in April 2026 and provides risk advisory services and accounting operations expertise with a focus on the insurance industry.

Prior to his time with Centri, he was performed external financial statement audits for various insurance clients at MarksNelson. In that role he tested financial statements for accuracy and completeness as well as guided clients through technical accounting issues and assisted the client to ensure proper reporting to the Department of Insurance for various states. Prior to his time at MarksNelson, he performed SALT audits for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts where he audited sales and use tax, hotel occupancy tax, motor vehicle tax, and mixed beverage tax.

Will received a Master’s degree in accounting from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
