Centri Welcomes Katherine Pastor as Director

Philadelphia, PA – November 17, 2020 – Centri Business Consulting, LLC is excited to announce the addition of a new Director, Katherine Pastor, to the firm. Katherine has over 14 years of accounting advisory and audit experience. She has significant experience with the financial services sector, with a specialization in the insurance industry.

“Katherine’s expertise in the financial services sector, paired with her technical accounting knowledge, makes her a vital component in resolving clients’ complex issues as they work to keep up with the emerging trends and compliance regulations facing the industry,” says Michael Aiello, Centri’s Managing Partner.

Katherine’s focus is assisting clients with technical accounting, including the adoption of emerging accounting standards, business combinations, and conversions to US GAAP. Additionally, she has an understanding of internal controls and process improvement. Katherine has experience with accounting and financial reporting under US GAAP, IFRS, and insurance statutory accounting.

Prior to joining Centri, Katherine was a Senior Manager at Ernst and Young (EY) as part of the financial accounting advisory practice. At EY, Katherine led cross-functional teams to support accounting and finance-related services for large global organizations and mid-size firms. She recently has focused on the emerging accounting standards for insurance contracts under both US GAAP and IFRS.

She began her career in the audit practice at EY, including a two-year global exchange rotation to Canada in 2009.

Katherine received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Massachusetts.
