Duryea is a Senior Associate at Centri Business Consulting.  He has more than 10 years of experience in public accounting and private accounting.  He joined Centri in May 2024 and assists clients with financial reporting, audit support, technical accounting analysis, and other accounting filing matters.

Prior to joining Centri, Duryea was an Experienced Senior Auditor at BDO USA where he provided audit and attest services for clients reporting under US GAAP and IFRS. While at BDO, he led financial statement audits and integrated audits for large public companies filing with the SEC. He gained technical expertise and worked through complex accounting topics such as ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), ASC 805 (Business Combinations), and ASC 842 (Leases). Additionally, he has extensive knowledge and expertise in internal controls and communicating control gaps to clients. Duryea has worked with private and public companies in a variety of industries, including media and entertainment, manufacturing, software and technology, not-for-profits, life sciences and higher education.

Duryea received a BSBA in Accounting from Radford University and a Masters in Accounting from Liberty University.
