Gerald has also supported client debt or equity fundraising efforts, either with one party, a syndicate, or via crowdfunding, providing support with financial reporting, technical accounting, and project management. Gerald works with public issuers, pre-IPO, and privately-owned companies across numerous industries.

As President, Gerald monitors and drives effective and efficient operations of the organization across all segments of the firm. In addition, he oversees the IT organization of the firm and assists with setting the strategic direction of the firm’s IT infrastructure. Gerald supports each firm segment with their growth initiatives through operational efficiency evolution within the delivery model and appropriate growth of the relative team.

Prior to his time with Centri, Gerald was an Assurance Manager with BDO USA, LLP, where he managed several large public and private engagements. He has managed and performed audit services for both public and privately-owned companies, including audits of internal control over financial reporting. While at BDO, Gerald also instructed several internal courses, including revenue recognition and updates to accounting and auditing guidance, and performed internal inspections of audit engagements performed by other offices. Before his career at BDO, Gerald was an Assurance Staff at Baker Tilly.

Gerald received a BS-BA with a major in Accounting from Shippensburg University in 2003 and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and is active on several committees of the PICPA. In connection with his active participation in PICPA events, the Emerging CPA Committee, and the Insurance Conference Planning Committee, Gerald received the “40 under 40: Members to Watch” Award in 2011.
