James is a Director at Centri Business Consulting within the firm’s M&A Advisory Practice. He has more than 17 years of experience in finance and accounting, including merger and acquisition consulting and FP&A experience.  He joined Centri in January 2024 and provides M&A advisory services to private equity firms, venture capital firms, family offices, and strategic/corporate clients. During his career, James has provided consulting services on over 100 transactions with enterprise values ranging from $5 million to $29 billion and has been responsible for leading all aspects of the deal process.

Prior to his time with Centri, James was a Director focused on financial due diligence at Stout, RSM US LLP, and PwC LLP cumulatively for five years, where he specialized in assisting his clients through the deal process from exploration to closing. Prior to that, James spent five years in FP&A at multi-national companies. He started his career at PwC between their Deal Advisory Practice and Assurance Practice cumulatively for eight years.

James received an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Delaware. He is an executive board member and the treasurer of the New Jersey Boys State Foundation. He is also a member of the AICPA and New Jersey State CPA chapter. James is a licensed CPA in the states of New Jersey and New York.
