Kristi Chong

Kristi is a Manager at Centri Business Consulting. She has nearly 7 years of experience in financial due diligence and assurance, primarily serving private equity and venture capital clients, with transaction experience spanning from early-stage businesses to public company take-privates valued at over $1 billion. She joined Centri in January 2026 as part of the firm’s M&A Advisory Practice and specializes in recurring revenue business models, particularly in the software and technology industry.

Prior to Centri, Kristi spent over two years at Alvarez & Marsal leading financial due diligence engagements for some of the most active private equity sponsors in the software and technology industry, including Francisco Partners and Thoma Bravo. Before Alvarez & Marsal, she spent nearly two years in KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice, where she worked on several high-profile public company take-private transactions, notably the take-private of Momentive (SurveyMonkey) by Symphony Technology Group. Kristi started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Los Angeles in the firm’s Assurance practice, serving some of the largest clients in the Financial Services group.

Kristi received a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She is a licensed CPA in the state of California and is fluent in English, Cantonese Chinese, and Mandarin Chinese.
