Thomas is a Managing Director and Tampa Bay Market Leader at Centri Business Consulting. He has more than 17 years of experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and accounting advisory, in addition to planning and executing financial statements, internal control, and compliance audits. He joined Centri in May 2022, where he provides advisory services to venture capital, private equity, and capital markets focused on technology and life sciences industries.

Thomas specializes in the accounting and reporting for complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, spin-offs, discontinued operations, revenue recognition and debt and equity structuring. Thomas provides value-added services to clients he supports including contract structuring for favorable revenue recognition, debt verse equity treatment, purchase accounting, and EBITDA.

Prior to his time with Centri, Thomas was a Senior Manager at RSM US LLP. There, he functioned as the Florida Technology, Media, and Telecom industry lead and was engagement leader and partner signoff on financial statement audits, reviews, and technical accounting for private equity and venture capital portfolio companies.

Thomas received his B.S. in Accounting from Salisbury University and his M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University of Maryland. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and Maryland.
