Centri Announces Jerry Maginnis, Former KPMG Philadelphia Office Managing Partner, as a Senior Advisor
Philadelphia, PA – April 27th, 2021 – Centri Business Consulting, LLC is excited to announce the engagement of Jerry Maginnis as a Senior Advisor, Strategy & Growth, to the firm. Jerry will bring his deep expertise in accounting, advisory and professional services to consult across the firm’s practices, with a focus on strategy and growth initiatives. He will provide counsel to senior management and guidance to foster the continued rapid growth of the organization.
Jerry is a seasoned executive with broad and deep business and leadership experience including serving as the Office Managing Partner for KPMG’s Philadelphia Office for over 8 years. In this role, he championed the Firm’s growth and people initiatives across its Advisory, Audit and Tax businesses. Prior to his OMP appointment in 2006, he led KPMG’s Pennsylvania Audit practice for 5 years. As an audit partner, he focused on serving emerging growth companies, many of whom were venture capital-backed and eventually went public. His clients were also active from an M&A standpoint. While Jerry served companies in a variety of industries during his career, many of them were technology-oriented businesses.

Over the past year, Centri grew both its top-line revenue and the number of employees at the firm by over 40% from the year prior. Additionally, the firm embarked on several initiatives supporting the momentum that has been building over the past few years, including the launch of Centri Virtual, a network of virtual locations with staff located around the country, and a rebranded service line- Powered by Centri, customized outsourced accounting services for industries including life sciences, technology, cannabis, digital assets and more. This continued growth speaks to market opportunity and demand for the specialized expertise and quality of work that Centri provides.
Jerry has stayed active in the business community by serving on the Boards and as the Audit Committee Chair of several public companies as well as volunteering his time as a Board member of the Faith in the Future Foundation and a member of the Pennsylvania Early Learning Investment Commission. In addition to his new role at Centri, Jerry also serves as an Executive in Residence at Rowan University in Southern New Jersey and the Chairman of the Board of the Pennsylvania CPA Foundation.
Jerry graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
