Centri Welcomes Michael Kirchner as Director

Philadelphia, PA – March 30, 2022 – Centri Business Consulting, LLC is excited to announce the addition of a new Director, Michael Kirchner, to the firm. Michael has over 16 years of accounting, advisory, and audit experience. In his role at Centri, Michael will support clients by providing technical accounting advisory, including ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 lease accounting, ASC 805 business combinations, and complex debt and equity transactions. In addition, Michael will assist clients with the preparation and review of periodic filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”).

Prior to joining Centri, Michael was the Assistant Controller and International Controller of Mistras Group, Inc., a publicly traded company. In this role, he was responsible for reviewing and directing SEC financial and external reporting and technical accounting in areas such as revenue recognition, leases, and stock-based compensation. He provided oversight with the month-end close, group consolidation, and external audits. He also collaborated with internal audit to ensure compliance with internal controls through documenting, implementing and evaluating internal controls.

Earlier in his career, he was an Accounting and Audit Manager with EisnerAmper, LLP, where he provided accounting, auditing, and business consulting services to clients in both the public and private sectors, throughout a variety of industries including technology, professional services, manufacturing, and retail.

Michael received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Monmouth University and a Master of Business Administration from Rider University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and a member of the New Jersey Society of CPAs.
