Centri Welcomes Thomas Arseneau as Managing Director

Tampa, FL – July 11^th, 2022 – Centri Business Consulting, LLC is excited to announce the addition of a new Managing Director, Thomas Arseneau, to the firm. He brings over 15 years of experience in planning and executing financial statement, internal control, and compliance audits, in addition to providing technical accounting, financial reporting, and CFO advisory services. At Centri, he will provide advisory services to venture capital and private equity portfolio companies and public companies in technology, business and professional services, and consumer products. Thomas is based out of Tampa, where he will be an integral part of building out the future Tampa office team and location.

Thomas specializes in the accounting and reporting for complex revenue recognition transactions under ASC 606 and business combinations under ASC 805. He has extensive experience accounting for business combinations, including assessing the reasonableness of management and third-party valuation specialist prepared fair value measurements, purchase price allocations, final working capital adjustments, and subsequent accounting for contingent considerations, indemnifications, contingencies, and the impairment analysis for intangible assets and goodwill.

Thomas has been instrumental in providing value-added services to middle market businesses. He has advised companies on structuring contracts for favorable accounting implications for revenue recognition for customer contracts, purchase agreements for acquisition of businesses, debt verse equity instrument structuring, and financial covenant structuring for debt agreements. Additionally, he has identified operational improvements to increase utilization of resources, identified financial reporting efficiencies, and assisted management in benchmarking key financial ratios for the client’s industry, region, and size.

Prior to joining Centri, Thomas was a Senior Manager at RSM US LLP for approximately 15 years. There he was the Florida technology, media and telecom industry lead, functioned as engagement leader on financial statement audits and reviews, and assisted companies in navigating the business challenges of high growth.

Thomas received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Salisbury University and his Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Loyola University of Maryland. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and Maryland.
