Centri Presents at the ISACA Fall Summit: SEC’s New Cybersecurity Disclosure Rules and Business Resiliency

Centri was thrilled to present at the 2023 ISACA Philadelphia Fall Summit on Thursday, November 9th at the Sheraton Valley Forge in King of Prussia, PA. Thank you to everyone who attended our session “SEC’s New Cybersecurity Disclosure Rules and Business Resiliency.”

In July 2023, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) adopted the final cybersecurity rules regarding disclosure requirements for public reporting companies. These rules aim to encourage companies to improve their cybersecurity risk management and to inform investors about their cybersecurity status.

During the session, Centri’s Mihir Jhaveri, Risk & Sustainability Practice Leader, and Rich Sowalsky, IT Risk & Cybersecurity Practice Leader, discussed the requirements that public companies must have in place around cybersecurity risk management and incident response standards. They also discussed the strategies needed to address and implement gap areas, the reporting requirements required for public disclosure, and the proactive steps that companies should be taking to prepare for the new requirements.
